The jacket is a 40R and the vest is a 38R – we can assume the original purchaser had a 38” chest and got the jacket a bigger size to fit over the waist coat / vest. We love the detailing on the jacket – clothing is rarely so detailed today. The jacket is fitted at the waist for a slimming fit. The guy who we purchased this from had hundreds of suits and jacket he never wore many of them – he just loved clothes and is a very affluent man!
